Montana Tech is accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

2017年春天, Montana Tech was visited by a NWCCU Evaluation Committee concluding the 7-year accreditation cycle. Following this visit, Montana Tech began addressing the next 7 year accreditation cycle.  2018年春季 第一年报告 2020年春季 中期报告 addressed the NWCCU 2010 five standards:

  1. Mission, Core Themes, and Expectations
  2. Resources and Capacity
  3. Planning and Implementation
  4. Effectiveness and Improvement
  5. 任务完成, Adaptation, and Sustainability

Current evaluations will address the two NWCCU 2020 Standards:

  1. Student Success, and Institutional Mission and Effectiveness
  2. Governance, Resources, and Capacity

Montana Tech submitted the 第六年报告 (Standard 2– Policies, Regulations, and Financial Review) on March 1, 2023.

In the spring of 2024, Montana Tech will submit the Year Seven Report – Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness.
